Lutheran Answers NewsletterSeason Three Update |
Hey there, Reader! First off, thank you for being a subscriber! I've been watching this list grow for the last few weeks and it's really blown my mind. I went from 0 subscribers when I came back to 71 already! The outpouring of support from you all has been truly humbling and very encouraging. Truly, thank you! On To Business!Lutheran Answers has been growing by leaps and bounds lately! It doesn't look like it on the surface, but I've been hard at work behind the scenes. I've been booking podcast guests to discuss various topics like:
And so much more! I've also started the process of writing Answers articles on a number of topics, including:
*this one may be a joke.
I also recently introduced a new web resource for Christians everywhere: Lutheran Confessions The goal of the website is to provide theological writing, hymnody, and other resources for free to Christians all over the world! But wait, there's more!I'm also creating my first course - Luther's Small Catechism - that I hope will be useful and instructional for people of all ages in learning the basics of the Christian faith. I want to make sure that, when we re-launch, we are knocking your socks off with amazing things! So that begs the question, doesn't it: When are you launching this thing, already!? Well I can't give you the exact date yet - it's too early! - but I can tell you that it's probably sooner than you think. I can for sure tell you that you will get absolutely slammed with amazing new Christian content starting in Q1 of 2024. I hope you stick around for it! Looking ForwardI'm hoping to have weekly, but perhaps bi-monthly, emails keeping you updated on the happenings from now until launch! Keep an eye on the website (lutherananswers.com) for updates and changes, as well! You may or may not have noticed, but I've been hard at work there! Some Closing ThoughtsI want you to know I've been hard at work on Lutheran Answers, giving it essentially all of my free time between seminary and work. Your continued prayers and support is so appreciated, necessary, and felt. Thank you all. P.S. - If you haven't yet, make sure to check us out |

Lutheran Answers Your Questions, Answered Thoughts on Catechesis. This summer quarter at ALTS we're studying catechesis with Pr. Jon Holst. Catechesis is a fancy (Greek: κατήχησις) word for teaching people the Christian faith. In the early days of the Christian church, when Christianity was still illegal in the Roman Empire, new converts to Christianity not only needed to be taught the Christian faith, but thoroughly vetted for their intention - as there were many Jewish and Roman spies who...
Lutheran Answers Friday, April 04 2025 Just 0 Days Until New Episodes Happy Advent 2, Reader! I hope you had a wonderful day at church (if you went today). Today at Christus Victor we had a Chrismon service where all the children decorated the tree with various icons and symbols, and we heard scripture readings and explanations of them. I'll get to the reflection in a bit, but first I wanted to let you know about our Patreon! Click To Check It Out! One of the things I've been hearing from...
23 November 23 Psalm 136 “ Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. — Psalm 136:1-3 This is such a wonderful Psalm, especially today. I'm sure I could spend time (and much digital ink) on the common refrain, "His Love Endures Forever." Instead, though, I would like to meditate on some of the pieces of this Psalm and how they apply to us directly. Verses...
